Grundig TK2200.
This was the first very good quality portable tape recorder I had, it was purchased in the spring of 1968. I wasn't very impressed with the microphone that came with it, it isn't the one shown on the picture link below. My first train recordings on the TK2200 were in the May, but by the July I had changed microphones and was using a Grampian DP4 instead.

The TK2200 was sold to help get the money to buy the Uher/Beyer combination that I used from 1970. It was sold to Mr Fairey of Bredon's Norton, Worcestershire - he was a teacher at Bredenbury School between Bromyard and Leominster.
